Changing the world starts with changing our community. We’re just at the beginning of our understanding of what impacting our community means. We’ve begun by upgrading and expanding our food pantry, and by joining forces with several organizations in our area. So many people in our community need basic things, like food and many of them don’t have transportation to a food pantry that can fulfill that need. Because of this we have started a mobile food pantry that will be going out into Beloit and the surrounding areas on a regular basis.

We’ve also started programs to help families in need around the holidays. This year because of the generosity of so many people we were able to feed over one hundred families at Thanksgiving. We also had the opportunity to give several families with children a real Christmas, gifting them with clothing, other necessities, and toys. These are just a few of the ways that we are making at difference in our community. At Beloit Life Center, we believe that loving others, not just with our words, but in practical ways is essential to living a Christ-like and fulfilling life.
