Welcome to the Life! We know you’ll find our environment to be a multi-cultural, diverse, family oriented, warm and friendly one. We believe that changing the world starts with changing our community and that’s what we’re trying to do here in the Stateline area. Love is not just a word we throw around at Beloit Life Center, but rather actions that we take on a daily basis. When you walk in the doors of Beloit Life Center, someone will be there to welcome you and give you any information you may need. Don’t be surprised if other members of the BLC family introduce themselves and start up a conversation. Service starts with our worship service. We utilize various styles of music including Rock, Contemporary Praise and Worship, and Gospel during this time. You will probably see people clapping and sometimes raising their hands. Feel free to join in when you feel comfortable. Midway through the service we have our “Welcome to the Life” time. Stories. You have a story. I have a story. Everybody has one. Maybe your story is one of joy right now, a new baby or love interest. Maybe it’s one of fear, anxiety over a lost job or anger and sadness at the death of someone dear to you. And questions, well, questions are a big part of our stories. I’m sure you have plenty of questions. Questions about life. About purpose. About God. Questions are important. Difficult, hard to understand questions. There aren’t always easy answers to our questions, but as we ask them we begin a journey, one that can bring us understanding and peace.
Your question about purpose can be answered this way: Yes, you DO have a purpose. You were created on purpose, for a reason. You have a destiny that only you can fulfill. It can be difficult sometimes to figure out what that purpose is which is why we have created a couple of tools to help you come to that understanding. At Beloit Life Center, part of our mission is to help you find your strengths and natural gifts. Our staff and church family support and encourage each other in this endeavor. One of the tools we offer is our personal growth plan, which can be found here. We also have classes in our School of Ministry that focus specifically on this question.
What happens when I get there?
Come early before service for good coffee and great conversation at our Life Cafe. If you have children, you may check them into The Adventure Center Kids Ministry as early as a half hour before service time begins.
